about us.

Tamiim is a Kamite name that means perfection.
We chose this name for our brand because it is filled with diversity.
Without knowing its origin, it is difficult to attach it to a precise culture.
This multicultural aspect is an essential part of our association. TAMIIM
wants to make beauty a tool of change by showcasing a positive image for
women of color, away from divisive categorization.
Diane and Ivan make it a priority to master and share their beauty techniques for all skin types and colors.
The notion of perfection itself is subjective and personal. We are
challenging this idea behind the meaning. For TAMIIM, perfection lies in
the details, in the differences. One woman's vision of perfection will not be
the same as the next one. We are throwing out of the window the
standardized stereotypes of beauty:
to each her definition, to each her personality.
This is what inspired our motto:
IT'S NOT A TRANSFORMATION,
IT'S A REVELATION.
In the end, what we want is to empower our clients in their
self-confidence by focusing on their beauty and not their make-up.
Make up becoming a mere mean to an end towards greater self acceptance with an emphasis on knowledge and technique,
we put forward the TAMIIM values : excellence, modernity and diversity.
